Right now I'm so excited about so many things.


Last weekend I got to see my mom and dad, and my brother. Shopping, Baseball Spring Training games, good food and being with the people I love the most- all crammed into three wonderful days. This weekend I got to see my best friend. George Herbert once said "the best mirror is an old friend." He really couldn't have been more right. I'm pretty sure we laughed more than we slept but I wouldn't have had it any other way. On Friday I'm going home and to the beach with my mom and my pups. The weekend after we come back to school I'm going skiing in Colorado. Then later in April I'm seeing my three favorite bands. All in one concert. Mumford and Sons, Edward Sharpe and Old Crow Medicine Show. This summer I have an opportunity to do great things in a beautiful place (fingers crossed).


It's been awhile since I've been able to look into the future and feel this genuinely excited. I've been to hell and back in this last year. So being this excited is truly great.


"But I say to you who hear: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, and pray for those who spitefully use you." Luke 6:27-28


^these words have worked wonders in my life.




But for now, back to my Women's History paper.
